Multi-Award Winning Specialty Fairtrade Organic Tea
My tea journey began back in 2002 when visiting a friend’s cafe in Kielce, Poland. Her vintage cafe filled with gorgeous pictures, trinkets and an extensive tea list captured my imagination. It was love at first taste. In 2008 I was inspired to start my own tea business. I could see tea lovers had been neglected for too long and it was time to change.
After months of searching, I stumbled across two tea growing communities that had tea crafting skills that went back thousands of years. The tea was divine: fresh, hand-harvested, crafted, beautiful with complexities and depth of flavour that were nothing less than intriguing. Every other tea faded into insignificance alongside them.
In 2009 we created Australia’s first specialty Fairtrade organic tea collection and started spreading the tea-joy far and wide. In 2018 Tielka was awarded eight medals at the Golden Leaf Awards. Two gold, six silver.
We wanted to bring Tielka to the next level in business and knew we had to surround ourselves with experts in the industry. GrowCoastal was the perfect opportunity to see this happen.

Cold Brew Limonada Rosa Herbal Infusion It’s incredibly easy to make and so smooth and delicious!
You can make this recipe with any Tielka tea, but Limonada Rosa is our favourite.
In the evening, measure 5 heaped teaspoons of Limonada Rosa Herbal Infusion into a 1L jug.
Fill the jug with cold water and put in the fridge.
In the morning, pour the cold brew through a strainer into a second jug.
Serve and enjoy!
