FOODPRENEURS SHARE SUCCESS AT GROWCOASTAL DEMO DAY
Join us for a morning of local food, insightful stories and product displays to celebrate the conclusion of the Innovation Centre Sunshine Coast’s 2018 GrowCoastal program. GrowCoastal is the first food accelerator on the Sunshine Coast and a partnership between the Innovation Centre and Food Agribusiness Network and sponsored by Advance Queensland.
Twelve of the Sunshine Coast’s most exciting foodpreneurs will present their products and showcase what they’ve learned about accelerating their business over the past three months.
According to Jacqui Price, GrowCoastal’s program manager, “It has been incredibly rewarding to see the personal growth in each and every participant in the GrowCoastal program. They have challenged their thinking around their businesses on a weekly basis and consistently worked outside their comfort zones. I can’t wait to see the transformation in their businesses over the next twelve months.”
There will also be an update on the 2017 GrowCoastal cohort’s highlights, achievements and success stories. The GrowCoastal program is in its’ second year with the 2019 program currently open for applications.
“GrowCoastal has delivered the goods for the second cohort of 12 food and beverage entrepreneurs about to launch their refined products at Demo Day to an audience of 200 buyers and investors,” said Innovation Centre CEO Mark Paddenburg. “Our GrowCoastal founders have all excelled and scaled in 2018 – I encourage you to try their delectable, world class products. I know you won’t be disappointed!”
The event kicks off at 10am with GrowCoastal member presentations during the morning. Join us for a lunch and GrowCoastal product sampling from 12pm to 1pm. Media are welcome to attend.
