Errika Meades is a senior business management, business development and logistics specialist. Errika has worked extensively with the Australian Defence industry for 29 years. Errika grew up in the Hunter Valley NSW and joined the Navy in 1987 as a non-commissioned officer. Commissioned as a Naval Officer in 1988 she spent twelve years serving as a Supply Officer engaged in seagoing and shore positions based in Sydney (including HMAS Platypus), Cairns, Jervis Bay and Darwin. Naval service also included participation in maritime ship and submarine building projects including Mine Hunter, Mine Sweeper and Hydrographic capabilities.
Errika entered the private sector in 1998 as a small business consultant developingbusiness plans for Start-ups. This laid the foundation for a consulting career working with Canberra based Defence management consulting firms. Positions of leadership and management included market and portfolio leads for GHD Australia, Boeing Defence
Australia, Jacobs Australia, QinetiQ Australia, KBR and SMS Consulting.
Errika holds an Executive Masters in Business Administration (EMBA) and consolidated her studies by founding a Defence consulting firm – Exchange Consulting Pty Ltd. Errika and her small team specialise in Defence Integrated Logistics Support management, safety and regulatory compliance of support systems and commercial business development advisory. Client related consulting experience includes logistic support programs with the Capability Acquisition and Sustainment Group (CASG), the Centre for Defence Industry Capability (CDIC), the Future Frigates Program (SEA5000), Collins Class Submarine Program, Rizzo Reform Program, Armadale Class Patrol Boat Project, Amphibious Afloat
capabilities LHD and HMAS Sirius. With extensive senior networks established across the Australian Defence sector, Errika’s
engaging nature builds and maintains strong business relationships. Her mission is to work with Defence and industry partners to provide safe and supportability equipment to the Australian Defence Force.
Errika is also dedicated to community and industry participation and is a Director of the Kawana Waters RSL Sub-branch, a Director of the Submarine Institute of Australia (SIA), an active member of the Royal Australian Naval Reserve and a Bronze medallion patrol member of the Kawana Waters Surf Lifesaving Club.
